Five ETS family members, ELF-1, ETV-4, ETV-3L, ETS-1, and ETS-2 upregulate human leukocyte-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor-1 gene basic promoter activity

Figure 3. Regulation of the basic LAIR-1 promoter activity by ETS transcription factors. Expression vector of ELF-1 (pCDB-ELF1), ELF-2 (pCDB-ELF2), ELF-3 (pCDB-ELF3), ELF-5 (pCDB-ELF5), ELK-4 (pCDB-ELK4), ERG (pCDB-ERG), ETV-3L (pCDB-ETV3L), ETV-4 (pCDB-ETV4), ETS-1 (pcDNA-ETS1) or ETS-2 (pSPORT-ETS2) was co-transfected with pGL-lair1-p6 (-256/-8), into HEK297T cells. Luciferase activities were measured at 48 h after transfection. The bars represent the mean ± standard deviation of three independent transfection experiments (a, b, c, d, e, and f indicate significant differences in groups identified with 1-way ANOVA, p<0.05).
