The wild-type L1-arrested worms only have two Q-cells (QR/L). Wild-type L1-arrested worms treated with 20 mg/mL glucose (B, E), 1 mg/mL cholesterol (C, F), or 1 μg/mLΔ7-dafachronic acid (D, G). Q-cell divisions occurred in these worms, as at least four Q-cells were observed under these conditions.
