Amorphous nano-selenium quantum dots prevent pulmonary arterial hypertension through recoupling endothelial nitric oxide synthase

A-SeQDs recouple eNOS in pulmonary arteries of monocrotaline-injected mice. The experimental protocol was shown in Supplementary Figure A. At the end of experiment, mice were sacrificed under anesthesia. Pulmonary artery isolated from mice were subjected to measure NO productions in (A), ROS productions in (B), and eNOS activity in (C). All data were expressed as mean ± SEM. 10-15 mice were in each group. *PVS Vehicle alone, #P VS monocrotaline alone. A one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey post-hoc tests was used to produce the P values.
