Gene deletion of DHFR abolishes the effects of A-SeQDs on BH4 salvage synthesis and eNOS recoupling in pulmonary arteries isolated from monocrotaline-injected mice. The experimental protocol was shown in Supplementary Figure 3A. Three weeks after monocrotaline injection, pulmonary artery isolated from mice were subject to measure BH4 in (A), BH2 in (B), NO productions in (C), and ROS productions in (D). All data were expressed as mean ± SEM. 10-15 mice were in each group. *PVS WT alone. A one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey post-hoc tests was used to produce the P values.
