The disturbance of thyroid-associated hormone and its receptors in brain and blood circulation existed in the early stage of mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease

The results of real-time quantitative PCR showed that the expression of thyroid receptor gene THRα (A) and THR β (B) was higher in the okadaic acid (OA) treated group than that in the control group at 2 weeks after injection (****P < 0.001), however, there was no significant difference in thyroid receptor gene expression between the control group and the normal group (P = 0.650 and 0.924, respectively). Normal: Mice without stereotactic puncture; control: The mice were punctured stereotaxically and injected with 5 μL of normal saline; OA: Mice were subjected to stereotactic puncture and injection of 5 μL of 0.1 μM okadaic acid.
