Figure 5. Increased chemokines mRNA expression after A.baumannii infection in aged mice. Young and aged mice were infected intratracheally with 5×106 CFU of LAC-4. At 0 h and 24 hpi, mRNA in lungs was isolated. CXCL1, CCL2, CCL7, CXCL2, and CXCL5 were measured by real-time PCR.
