(B-C) RNA was isolated from PBMCs from young (mean=32.1 yrs) and old (mean=62.6 yrs) white males above and below poverty (n=40; see Table 1 for demographics). RNA was reverse transcribed and lncRNA levels were quantified by RT-qPCR.
