LncRNA AK045171 protects the heart from cardiac hypertrophy by regulating the SP1/MG53 signalling pathway

AK045171 binds with SP1 and activates MG53 transcription. MG53 inhibits nuclear transfer of p65 and β-catenin, thereby decreasing expression of their downstream target genes, such as ANP, BNP and β-MHC.
