Vitamin D levels are prognostic factors for connective tissue disease associated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD)

Using a median of serum 25(OH)D (14.98) as a standard, 85 patients with CTD-ILD were divided into high-level and low-level groups. The median survival time of patients with high serum 25(OH)D level in was 16.5 months (95%CI 14.6~18.4 months), significantly longer than the patients with low-level 25(OH)D level group (14.0 months, 95%CI 11.1 to 16.9 months) (P=0.007).
