Cholesterol-rich naked mole-rat brain lipid membranes are susceptible to amyloid beta-induced damage in vitro

Sphingosine phosphodiesterase 3, a member of the sphingomyelinase family (also called neutral sphingomyelinase 2) is decreased in naked mole-rat hippocampus (D) where sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 is decreased in the cerebellum (E) and the cerebral cortex (F).
