LINC02362 attenuates hepatocellular carcinoma progression through the miR-516b-5p/SOSC2 axis

Upon the upregulation of LINC02362, downstream target miRNA miR-516b-5p is sponged and the levels are decreased in the HCC cells. As miR-516b-5p is a negative regulator of SOCS2, the SOCS2 mRNA and protein levels are enhanced by LINC02362, resulting in the mitigation of cell proliferation and metastasis and augment of cell apoptosis of HCC cells.
