Immunofluorescence confocal microscopy in combination with in situ PLA, which detects protein-protein complexes, was used to explore interactions between Nanog to Npm1 and Tpt1. Each detected complex is represented by a red dot. (A) Complexes between endogenous Npm1 and Nanog were found in the nucleoplasm in some of the interphase ES cells. (B) No interaction was observed between Tpt1 and Nanog in ES cells. DNA was counterstained by Hoechst 33342 (blue). Scale bar represents 10 μm.
