Amorphous nano-selenium quantum dots prevent pulmonary arterial hypertension through recoupling endothelial nitric oxide synthase

Administration of A-SeQDs activates BH4 salvage pathway in pulmonary arteries of monocrotaline-injected mice. The experimental protocol was shown in Supplementary Figure 3A. At the end of experiment, mice were sacrificed under anesthesia. Pulmonary artery isolated from mice were subjected to measure BH4 in (A), DHFR activity in (B), and BH2 in (C). All data were expressed as mean ± SEM. 10-15 mice were in each group. *PVS Vehicle alone, #P VS monocrotaline alone. A one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey post-hoc tests was used to produce the P values.
