GV1001 interacts with androgen receptor to inhibit prostate cell proliferation in benign prostatic hyperplasia by regulating expression of molecules related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition

Decreased TNF-α production by GV1001 in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) stimulated with DHT. PBMCs (2.5 × 106 cells/ml) were treated with either DHT (25 nM) or GV1001 (GV, 100 μM) for 24 h and the media were collected for cytokine array analysis. The concentration of 15 cytokines (IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-13, TNF-α, GM-CSF, GRO, IFN-γ, MCP-1, MIP-1α, MIP-1β, VEGF) secreted by DHT-stimulated PBMCs was measured using a human cytokine array kit.
