Bromodomain-containing protein 4 silencing by microRNA-765 produces anti-ovarian cancer cell activity

miR-765 is downregulated in ovarian cancer tissues. Expression of miR-765 and BRD4 mRNA in ten (n=10) different ovarian cancer tissues (“T”) and surrounding paracancerous normal tissue (“N”) (A, B) as well as in primary ovarian cancer cells (pOC-1 and pOC-2), established ovarian cancer cell lines (CaOV3 and SKOV3), and human ovarian epithelial cells (pOE-1 and pOE-2) (C, D) was shown, with results quantified.
