Records were identified in PubMed and Scopus (from inception to 16 July 2025) and through citation chasing. After duplicate removal (n = [276]), n = [860] records were screened; n = [223] reports were sought for retrieval and n = [23] were not retrieved. n = [200] reports from databases and n = [27] from other methods were assessed for eligibility. n = [79] reports were excluded with reasons. n = [171] studies were included in the review. Exact counts by node and reasons for exclusion are detailed in Supplementary File 7; PRISMA 2020 checklist in Supplementary File 2.
