The IL-1β group was given i.p. injection of 1 μg/kg IL-1β and assessed after 48 h. (C, D) The phosphorylation levels of tau were determined by western blots in IL-1β (1 ng/ml)-treated N2a cells. The IL-1β group was treated with 1 ng/ml IL-1β and assessed after 48 h. The optical density of bands in western blots was analyzed by Image J software (*P < 0.05; **P<0.01 vs. the control group).
