Fucoxanthin attenuates LPS-induced acute lung injury via inhibition of the TLR4/MyD88 signaling axis

Fucoxanthin down-regulated the expression of COX-2 and iNOS in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 macrophages. (A) RAW264.7 cells were pretreated with the indicated concentrations of Fucoxanthin for 1 h before being stimulated with LPS for another 24 h. Cox-2 and iNOS were determined by immunofluorescence staining. DAPI-stained nuclei were indicated by blue fluorescence. Cox-2 and iNOS were indicated by green fluorescence. Scale Bar = 100 μm.
